Transporting a Micro Ingredient System to California with Top Quality Service

Have you ever seen something like this before? JR Robledo received a call from a client who needed to transport a 10,000lb micro ingredient system. These oversize machines are used commonly used in the agricultural and industrial industries to precisely measure the ingredients being used. This could be used in a plant or feeding mill setting. The client needed this micro ingredient system transported from Minnesota to California. Aside from the microsystem itself, there were also five pallets full of additional equipment that JR needed to account for.

The micro ingredient system is 10.6 ft in height. That immediately put it into oversize load territory. In order to help with any low-clearance bridges, JR decided to use a lowboy trailer for shipping. A lowboy trailer is a great option for extremely tall loads because it’s lower to the ground. This means the micro ingredient system is also lower to the ground, reducing the need for alternate routes due to the size.
